Dive Report
July 2006

Friday 7-28: blowout. Stuck our nose out and got clobbered. Although the hull of the Mutiny is nice and deep, and it does take the seas well, it was too much of a beating for our group. Back to the dock for us.

Saturday 7-29: Destination Aeolus. I tied us in on the stern, very little current and approx. 80 feet of vis. Sharks, trigger fish, queen angels, rays, MANY huge barracuda...one of our divers say a spotted eagle ray, which I've never seen in Morehead. Stayed for two dives due to difficulty adjusting to new electronics. Many of our divers were new to Morehead, I believe, and enjoyed their dive so much, they didn't mind. Had one small problem with divers not returned to the boat in the expected time, but all were brought on board safely.

Sunday 7-30: Destination Hardee's Artificial Reef. I tied us in at the wheelhouse. Again, little current and vis ~ 80 ft. Sand dollars and shells galore, rays, grouper, morays...a very nice dive. Again, stayed for two.
